Remember Two Things - Dave Matthews Band - Vinyl Coming Soon! 24 April 2014.

Updated:  7 May 2014.  I've had to sit on this for a while, but the cat is out of the bag and it's up for pre-order, so we can go ahead and talk about it.  Dave Matthews Band's 1993 debut album on Bama Rags is getting a vinyl release.  This album will be released on a double LP and contains the same track list as the CD. Chris Bellman at Bernie Grudman Mastering cut this album, and it's being pressed in France at MPO.

New info from DMB: "Available for the first time on vinyl! This limited edition deluxe audiophile release of Remember Two Things, the band’s first ever official release, features the original album across two 180 gram LPs, with lacquers cut by Chris Bellman of Bernie Grundman Mastering. The gatefold jacket is foil numbered and includes a new eight-page booklet with full lyrics and rare and previously unpublished photos of the band. The download card includes the full album plus two previously unreleased bonus tracks: early studio versions of “Pay For What You Get” and “Typical Situation,” newly mastered by original album engineer David Glasser."

Also, the CD version is getting a remaster release. "The reissue of Remember Two Things, the band’s first ever official release, features the original album expanded with two previously unreleased bonus tracks: early studio versions of “Pay For What You Get” and “Typical Situation,” newly mastered by original album engineer David Glasser. An expanded booklet includes full lyrics and rare and previously unpublished photos of the band.

This album is set to be released June 17th, 2014.
